Communication is the process in which messages get sent and received via verbal and nonverbal cues, including transmission of information or mouth-to-mouth communication. Graphical representations like infographics, charts, maps and writing different signs and signals are also the part of communication. More frugally; communication is the simplest way of generation and exchange of different meaning between two or more persons.
Theorist and media critic James Carey once explained; a certain symbolic process in which reality is produced in different modes and get transformed is called ‘communication’. In the year 1992 one of his famous book ‘communication as culture’ expressed that we define our reality through sharing our thoughts with others.
All the living creatures on the earth have developed a procedure themselves in which they can covey their personal thoughts and emotions to others. However human beings have developed a personal ability to use words and different languages to transfer their feelings that makes them apart from the from the animal kingdom.
Elements of communication
Each and every communication has a specific sender and receiver. A message and interpretations of meaning on each end is also included. Both receiver and sender during the message’s conveyance gives feedback to each other depending on their message. Feedback signals can be formed as verbal and non-verbal such as looking away and sighing or nodding in agreement.
The context of the message is also included along with it, creating the environment of the conversation and potential for interference during its sending and acquirement.
If the sender is watchable to the receiver, he or she can gain not only the contents behind the message but also the non-verbal communication that the sender is given from the nervousness to confidence or vocalization to professionalism. If the receiver listens to the sender, receiver can receive the gesture from the tone of voice of the sender; for example, emotion or emphasis.

The written formation of communication (Rhetorical Communication)
There is another important fact that arises and makes the human beings different from their animal cohabiters is the usage of writing as a mode of communication. And this mode of communication has been a part of the human experience for at least 5000 years. In fact, the first essay which was originated in Egypt in the year around 3000 B.C.; though it was not that late, when general world population was declared as literate.

McCroskey have stated that the texts like these has a separate significance because it establishes the historical fact that, enhancement in rhetorical communication is most probably 5000 years old. Most importantly McCroskey have accepted the truth that ancient texts like these were written for giving instructions to communicate effectively, further strengthens early civilization’s value of developing the practice.
By the time this habituation has grown so well; especially in the era of internet rhetorical communication has became most preferable and standard mode of communication all over the world. It can be a text or instant message, Facebook post or a simple tweet.
Daniel Boorstin have observed in “Democracy and Discontents” that the most important individual change in human consciousness specifically in American consciousness in the last century is the variation in the formations of our so called ‘communication’. This has become a reality in modern times with the appearance of e-mail and various social media formats for communicating with people all over the world.
If a message includes only the written part; suppose an email or a text then the sender needs to take care of clarity of the message so that it can not be misinterpreted by the receiver. However, emails often can come without revealing the proper intention of the sender. For example, it is not obvious that professional conversations need to include emoticons in a formal communication to unveil the proper meaning and context of the message.
Practice before access
So, if you are going to have a convo with a single person, in front of a huge audience or over your phone make sure what you are going to express to your audience. About the context; that will convey the core of your thoughts to them. Be hundred percent assure about what will be the most effective way to reach the audience? or what step you should take so that your thoughts can be properly conveyed?
